Super Bowl Bound

Falcons and Patriots tangle in the NFL Finale

Matt Ryan has emerged as the most prolific quarterback in the NFL this season and has looked more like Tom Brady of old than Tom Brady does this season.  There is a reason for that, actually.  You see, Ryan studied Tom Brady and other high scoring NFL quarterbacks.

I decided I would spend the early part of the off-season studying the high-scoring offenses in the NFL that had personnel similar to ours here in Atlanta. – Matt Ryan

Matty Ice vs Tom Brady

In a head to head comparison with Brady this season, Matt Ryan comes out on top in every statistical category.

Super Bowl LI

Super Bowl LI will take place at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas.  Last year, Super Bowl 50 was the third most watched event in Television History and this year looks to be no different.  Tickets have been selling at a brisk pace and the weather for Super Bowl LI looks to be amazing as February is notoriously dry in Houston.

Plenty of great seats and affordable tickets are still available so be sure to grab a friend and grab your tickets and witness history in person.

Packers come calling on Falcons for NFC Title

Falcons take out Seahawks/Packers take out Cowboys

The Atlanta Falcons (12-5) defeated the Seattle Seahawks (11-6-1) on Saturday to move on to the NFC title round with the Green Bay Packers (12-6) after they defeated the Dallas Cowboys (13-4) the following day.  Tickets for the next round will go fast.

Matt Ryan completed the game and the victory with a nine play/99 yard drive that took nearly three minutes that put the Falcons up by nine.  They never looked back after that.

“That drive was a synopsis of what we did all day,” QB Matt Ryan said. “We executed really well.”

They will need to keep that execution in check as they take on the Green Bay Packers Sunday evening.

“It’s a ton of fun,” tight end Levine Toilolo said. “There’s guys all over this offense that can make plays. It doesn’t fall on one guy. Receivers, tight ends, running backs, the guys up front, Matt … that’s what’s hard to defend.”

The Packers best be prepared.

Great seats and affordable tickets are still available so be sure to grab yours today and help cheer on your Falcons to Victory!

Falcons host Panthers this weekend

Defense is a major concern

The Atlanta Falcons (2-1, 1st NFC South) have rebounded from their opening loss to win two straight games and take over the NFC South.  While the offense is humming along at 438 yards a game, their defense is ranked near the bottom of the league, giving up 371 yards a game.  And defense wins championships.  Now come the Panthers (1-2, 3rd NFC South)

These two teams have a nice little history between them and have played falcons-442 times with the Falcons taking a 25-17 lead in the series.  While the Panthers record is under .500, they are favored in this match up by 3 1/2 because of that porous Falcons defense.  The Panthers, however, have a stiff defense, ranked 3rd in the NFL and is the best Atlanta has come across this season.

“An excellent defense,” QB Matt Ryan said of Carolina.  “I think their front seven does a great job both against the run and the pass. Two excellent linebackers. A front four that is very deep across the board. Those guys play extremely well. For us, it’s going to be important to play well up front and to prepare for their scheme. I think they do a great job of understanding their scheme and understanding the offenses that they’re going against.”

The game kicks off at Noon in the Georgia Dome.  Plenty of great seats and affordable tickets are still available so be sure to grab yours today and help cheer on your Atlanta Falcons this Sunday!
